Since moving from BC in 2016, Catherine has worked daily in the urban and rural homes of her fellow Albertans. Covering a 300km radius of Calgary, Catherine has developed an expansive network or trusted vendors, contractors, and healthcare providers.

She is proud to support local charities, and to be able to give back through Valley to Peak’s selected annual charity. Catherine prides herself in assisting clients and their families to navigate the healthcare and insurance systems, coordinate equipment and services, and provide peace of mind.

Vytality at Home was born after the founders both experienced challenges with balancing the demands of their life and challenges with coordinating quality care of aging family members. With having their blended background of Healthcare, Nursing, Senior Care and Human Resources they knew there must be a better way to obtain and execute care.

In 2016 Kathy recognized the need for a service that would help to address the challenges and frustrations that seniors and their families face when trying to identify and access, in a timely manner, the myriad of senior services that exist.

There are many government reports that indicate planning ahead for ones’ senior years will be crucial in our current environment of overstretched health care and constricted government funding. However, there is no support to help families plan ahead.

In creating Proactive Seniors, our team addresses this need by helping our clients navigate difficult discussions and decisions related to planning for aging. We are blessed to be doing work that we love and having a positive impact on one of our most valuable resources – our seniors.
