Adam has been working as an occupational therapist since graduating from the u of a in 2008. His career started in long term care facilities where he was responsible for many roles including: wheelchair assessment and fitting, equipment prescription, transfer assessments, and exercise programming. Further to this he took a lead on the wound care team for prevention, wound assessment, dressing selections and pressure redistribution devices.
He is currently working at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital on a geriatric assessment unit. His current role is focused on active rehabilitation to enable patients to return to their home. A significant portion of his job is devoted to cognitive assessment/evaluation. Wherever you find him you can be sure to see a smile on his face!
