Sofia holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta and is currently completing the final year of her Master’s in Physiotherapy. She is passionate about using movement as a tool to help individuals build healthy, active, and meaningful lives. Her interest in rehabilitation is rooted in her background as a national-level rhythmic gymnast, where she developed a strong appreciation for injury recovery and returning to sport. These experiences continue to shape her approach to care, supporting individuals in returning to the activities that matter most to them. Sofia has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from children to older adults, as well as athletes and those with complex medical needs. She takes a client-centered and collaborative approach, working closely with each individual to develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that support long-term success. She values adaptability, open communication, and empowering clients to take an active role in their health and rehabilitation. Outside of the clinic, Sofia enjoys spending time in the mountains skiing, mountain biking, and rock climbing. In the city, she values connecting with friends and family, baking sourdough, and spending time knitting or reading.
