
Mackenzie is currently pursuing her Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Alberta, where she also completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She brings a strong foundation in human movement and rehabilitation, along with hands-on experience in private practice settings focused on musculoskeletal injuries. Her passion for care extends beyond the clinic. Mackenzie has volunteered with individuals across the lifespan, including those living with cognitive and physical impairments. She has worked with people affected by cerebral palsy, stroke, autism, and Parkinson’s disease. These experiences have shaped her adaptable and empathetic approach, allowing her to meet people where they are and support progress through creativity and compassion. Mackenzie is driven by a desire to help others maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. She works collaboratively with clients to set meaningful goals and develop personalized treatment plans. Her approach emphasizes trust, open communication, and mutual respect, ensuring clients feel supported and empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey. Outside of her academic and clinical work, Mackenzie enjoys hiking, golfing, and spending time outdoors. Staying active helps her recharge and reconnect with what she values most.
