Conditions Our MVA Physiotherapy Treats

Motor vehicle accident physiotherapy at InHome Physiotherapy Solutions addresses a range of conditions caused by MVAs. Our physiotherapy services treat these conditions effectively, promoting recovery and improving overall well-being.

Whiplash

Whiplash is a neck injury that is caused by sudden movement, often from rear-end car accidents. Physiotherapy helps by reducing pain, restoring neck mobility, and strengthening muscles.

Back Pain

MVAs can cause different types of back injuries. Physiotherapy aims to alleviate pain, improve spinal alignment, and enhance core stability through targeted exercises and manual therapy.

Joint Injuries

Injuries to the joints, such as knees, shoulders, and wrists, are common in motor vehicle accidents. Physiotherapy focuses on reducing inflammation, increasing joint range of motion, and promoting healing through therapeutic exercises and modalities.

Muscle Strains

Strains in muscles due to sudden impact or force can be effectively managed through physiotherapy. Treatment includes stretching exercises, soft tissue techniques, and gradual strengthening to restore muscle function.

MENTAL ILLNESS

A sedentary lifestyle can contribute to mental health issues such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Physiotherapy offers fitness programs to keep mental illness at bay, managing conditions like Parkinson’s, Schizophrenia, Delirium, and memory impairment.

Post-Fracture Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy plays an important role in the rehabilitation process after a fracture by promoting bone healing, restoring mobilities, and preventing complications like stiffness and muscle atrophy.

Mobility Issues

Motor vehicle accidents can cause mobility challenges. Physiotherapy interventions include gait training, balance exercises, and adaptive techniques to improve mobility and independence.

How Physical Therapy Can Help MVA Patients

Motor vehicle accidents often result in significant pain and serious injuries such as whiplash, back strains, or fractures, which can severely impact mobility, causing stiffness, a limited range of motion, and difficulties with daily activities.

Physiotherapy is a highly effective treatment for rehabilitating individuals after such accidents. At InHome Physiotherapy Solutions, we offer compassionate care through personalized exercises and hands-on techniques. Our physiotherapists are dedicated to helping you improve mobility, alleviate pain, and restore strength and function.

Sidney has been working with my 95 year old bed bound father since the Fall of 2025 .Sidney is very competent , yet insightful and wise even though she is still at a youthful age.She is able to motivate my Dad to try his bestat increasing his flexibility and strength despite being mindful of his limitations ( dad suffered permanent paralysis on his left side from polio when he was about 8 years old) . Sidney is also very kind and very encouraging and engaging my Dad in his therapy .

Cindy wonderful. She is very kind and patient with my husband who is very weak and sore. He is maintaining his ability to get out of bed and to walk and transfer. This allows me to keep him at home and to maintain his quality of life. After several visits my husband’s mobility has really improved! Better than we hoped for. She’s wonderful.
