Mike Duncan
Physiotherapist

As a born and raised Albertan, Mike has spent considerable time living in both Edmonton and Calgary completing a Bachelor of Biological Science in 2013 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2019 at the University of Alberta. The years of 2014 and 2015 were spent studying Kinesiology at the University of Calgary. This commitment to growth and professional development has led Mike to a specialization in vestibular rehabilitation. Since the summer of 1999 Mike has trained and competed in ITF style Taekwondo. After earning his blackbelt at the age of 16, he spent a number of years teaching Taekwondo to people of all ages and abilities. Mike was fortunate to be selected for the U-21 men’s team representing Canada at the 2007 ITF World Taekwondo Championships in Birmingham, England where we took home silver in sparring and bronze in board breaking. The best part of martial arts to him is the always-present goal of attaining your next belt while at the same time noticing yourself become stronger in all aspects of your life. Throughout the years of playing competitive football, from peewee to the highschool/midget level, and training in Taekwondo, Mike has endured a number of sports related injuries that were rehabbed successfully thanks to Physiotherapy. Mike’s personal experience with the profession drove him to pursue a career in the field. Mike is thrilled to be able to deliver mobile Physiotherapy that is customized to your needs and wants, from the comfort of your own home! Outside of work you can find Mike skiing the Rocky Mountains, trying to improve his golf game on the links or hanging out with his hairless Sphynx cat named Hugo!
